Handicrafts Materials

Indigenous crafts, especially those made by the Wixárika group, are made mostly out of beads, which can be expensive on a large scale, spending more money than they actually earn. We can help Wixárika artisans by donating beads to them. You can buy different color beads strips in your local haberdashery, ask an indigenous craftsman if they would like a donation, and help them to continue their business, they will highly appreciate it!

Medical Supplies

One of the things that indigenous people lack the most in their communities is medical attention. One of the main things that you could donate are medicines, to attend headaches, colds, colics, temperature, among others. Vaccines are some other vital supplies that indigenous communities need. Donate to provide these communities with vaccines against Influenza, COVID-19, and Polio. Scorpion bites are serious problem in this communities, since are located up in the mountains, and if they want to go to a hospital, the trip would be ours long. This is why scorpion antidote would be another vital thing to donate to an indigenous community. Last but not least, campaigns against head lice should be promoted among indigenous communities, since it is a severe issue.

Support the Children

Children can suffer from a number of need. You can get involved by donating clothing, shoes, school supplies, beds, and food for them and their family. Indigenous people suffer from a lack of education, and something should be done about it. Giving the opportunity of a scholarship to a young indigenous person could change their future.
